I saw that commercial at the beginning of this week and it’s been stuck in my brain since. Hope everyone is having a decent hump day. I know I am! Here’s what’s going on with me…
1. A break from the office. There is construction going on at our office and today they are chainsawing through the wall behind my desk. Not exactly a pleasant work environment. So I am working from home and I am loving the change of scenery and getting to see a little more of Jeremy and this silly creature.
2. Interval workouts make me feel like Superwoman. This morning I did my weekly speed workout and it was intervals. (My favorite!) I did a 1 mile warm up, then 3 x 1,600 at 7:20/mile pace with 800 meter recovery jogs in between, then a 1 mile cool down. It was fantastic. Running the faster paces involved in speed workouts makes me feel so athletic!
3. I am so freaking rungry. No, it’s not a typo. I first heard the word rungry on Hayley’s blog and I love it so now I use it constantly. Runger is the special type of hunger runner’s experience where normal amounts of food really aren’t cutting it. I swear, my stomach has been growling seemingly non-stop since yesterday morning and it is definitely NOT because I haven’t been dumping copious amounts food into it. Maybe I should eat an entire pizza and see if that remedies the problem?
4. I got to eat sushi last night which is always an indicator of a decent week in the making. In case you were wondering (and I know you were), this was my fortune.
